Thnx for your kind words. I have just had a look at your stuff too - you are very talented - and have such a diverse range of skills - I am very impressed.

I started this style of painting when I was 16 (approximately the same age as you are now, I think) - I saw a black and white photo of a black body builder's back - showing three very distinct levels of shading - white where the light was shining off the top of his muscles, black where the muscles formed shadows and grey where the skin was neither in light nor in shadow. It inspired me to create my first painting of this style (17 years ago!). It is only recently that my wife and I have started to do this again (a lot!) - since August 2003. If I get a chance - I may we try and find the original and put a picture of it up here.
